DeepSeek-chan
The blue-haired whale girl
DeepSeek-chan, also called Whale-chan, is a fan-made personification of DeepSeek. In Chinese fandom she is known as 蓝色大肥鱼, or the big blue fish. ZipZipPipe's version builds on 上善无形's original whale-girl character, with long blue hair, a whale tail and a black-and-white maid dress. Other outfits include a court maid design. Browse her character art, turnaround sheets and fan videos here.
This guide follows ZipZipPipe's whale-maid design, based on 上善无形's character. Other artists draw their own versions of DeepSeek-chan, so check the artist and reference image when choosing a design.

Why the rice bowl?
Fans turn interactions with AI into a character's everyday behavior. Rice bowls and work breaks are two ways into Whale-chan's comic scenes.
First, let's eat
In the creator-kit thread, fans describe bowls of plain white rice as her payment for computing. A reply explains the food joke through 事已至此，先吃饭吧, roughly "Things have come to this, so let's eat first." The humor is the switch from a difficult problem to an ordinary meal.
A whale girl slacking off
The same post casts her as clever, cheeky and fond of slacking off. The Chinese slang 摸鱼 literally means "touching fish" and refers to taking it easy at work. Giving a whale girl a snack break makes that wordplay easy to turn into a scene.
